In reality, many of my friends and clients have shared stories of experiencing everything from subtle bias to outright discrimination. Our community has no federal protection against housing discrimination because unfortunately sexual orientation is not among the protected classes cited in the Fair Housing Act.

I know that feeling safe and being treated with respect is of utmost importance to every client – including members of our LGBTQ community.
